What is Sposa?

spò|sa. Specifically, sposa is the Italian word for a woman about to be married, or, a bride on her wedding day.

Locally, Sposa was created by serial wedding attendees Paige Dempsey and Kristin Carnaby.  Having seen friends and family members suffer the unnecessary stress which often accompanies shopping for wedding dresses and other essentials, Paige and Kristin abandoned their corporate legal careers to open Sposa ~ A Wedding Boutique.  Their vision for Sposa was simple: to create a store which features unique and affordable wedding dresses, accessories and gifts, and which provides excellent customer service in a fun and relaxing environment.

Sposa opened in Rockbrook Village in Omaha in June, 2005.
